Description: Vasona is located in an urban park in Los Gatos. It is not regularly stocked with trout. It is stocked for Kids Fishing Days programs with trout and catfish. It is a shallow lake with a lot of tules, some brush, and an island.
Largemouth Bass: Most the bass here are small. You can catch fish flipping the tules, or fishing flukes (or senkos) in open water.
Catfish: The catfishing can be good here. Lots of fish in the 3-4 pound range. The best spot is near the inlet area. Throw out an un-weighted piece of fresh mackerel and get comfortable.
